    The discussion on duplication of effort in tackling problems at the end is very interesting. Christine’s suggestion of having diversity of solutions, but managing them by improving access and understanding of them is good. Some projects require critical mass of individuals though to make aspects of these solutions work well (eg trust/reputation systems that require aggregate data of individual feedback)
